Acquisition of a Birth Certificate for Citizen Of Kenya Occurring Abroad

For Kenyan Nationals living in Spain, the process of obtaining the Kenyan Birth Certificate Occuring Abroad is as follows: –

  1. Applicant to complete the Kenya Birth Registration Form.
  2. Applicant’s foreign birth certificate. If not in English, should be translated and certified.
  3. Applicant’s foreign passport.
  4. Birth Certificate(s) of Kenyan parent(s).
  5. Passport/s of Kenyan parent(s).
  6. Kenyan National Identity Cards of Kenyan parent(s).
  7. Passport of non-Kenyan parent; and
  8. Marriage Certificate of parents.
  9. Processing fee
