Legalization-Diplomatic Way
- Officially issued documents by the Kenyan authorities (Birth Certificate, Marriage certificate, Certificate of Good Conduct etc.) should be forwarded to the (MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS (MFA), Harambee Avenue, Nairobi – Legal Division for Legalization via the link mfa.ecitizen.go.ke. Once this is done, the same documents (including the legalization document attached at MFA) should be forwarded to the Spanish Embassy in Nairobi (Mara and Ragati Road) for legalization. Afterwards, the documents are presented to the Kenya Embassy in Madrid for translation and legalization.
- The Embassy will forward the documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Spain for eventual final step of the legalization process.
- Once this is done, the documents are considered as LEGALIZED – by Diplomatic way.
- The fee for Translation is €15 and for Legalization is €15.
